Wellsradio began as an online radio station on the 1st of January, 2018, in Oluyole Estate, Ibadan, with the mission of delivering wholesome content and programmes to Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora via the internet. Founded by Evangelist Lillian Bademosi, the first female radio founder in Oyo State, Wellsradio Online quickly carved a niche for itself locally and internationally. In 2019, it was recognized as the Best Online Radio Station in Oyo State. Throughout its online phase, Wellsradio remained steadfastly operational without a single day offline.
In October 2021, the station obtained its terrestrial license, becoming Wellsradio 89.3 FM. Our goal has always been to provide safe, family-friendly content for Oyo State residents and global audiences. Known as “The Family Radio Station,” we pride ourselves on safe entertainment, quality discussions, progressive nation-building conversations, and a foundation of professional broadcasting. On January 1st, 2024, Wellsradio 89.3 FM was officially commissioned and began full operations in February 2024.

Wellsradio 89.3 FM is situated along Alaafin Avenue, Oluyole Estate, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. Located in the same community as the industrial estate in Ibadan, our distinctive blue and white exterior makes the station easy to find and impossible to miss.
