President Trump Begins Middle East Tour with Saudi Arabia Visit

U.S. President Donald Trump has arrived in Saudi Arabia, kicking off his first major diplomatic trip of his second term.

He was welcomed on the tarmac in Riyadh by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The four-day visit, which also includes stops in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, is aimed at boosting economic ties and securing major investments in the U.S.

A state dinner is scheduled for later in the evening. Notably, Trump also chose Saudi Arabia as his first overseas destination during his first term, breaking from the traditional presidential route through allies like the UK, Canada, or Mexico.

This time, his itinerary does not include Israel, with the focus firmly on economic cooperation over diplomatic or security matters.
