Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has confirmed that Victor Osimhen will feature against Karagumruk on Friday, after missing the 3-0 win over Gaziantep as he worked to regain full fitness.
The 26-year-old Nigerian striker reported late for pre-season training due to prolonged transfer negotiations from Napoli.
His return comes as he is caught in an unrelated controversy over the renaming of the Bulut Mosque in Konya, which briefly appeared on Google Maps as “Victor Osimhen Mosque.”
The listing, believed to be the result of incorrect user edits, drew criticism from worshippers, with community member Zeki Yaylacı calling it disrespectful.
There is no indication that Osimhen was involved in the incident.
