President Tinubu has returned to Abuja yesterday evening, cutting short his
planned 10-day leave to Paris and London.
His aircraft, an Airbus A330, landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 6:50 p.m.
The President had departed Nigeria on September 4 and was expected to remain abroad until later this week.
However, no official reason was provided for the early return, which comes just days before the expiration of the six-month emergency rule in Rivers State.
Since January 2025, President Tinubu has undertaken 15 foreign trips, often combining official engagements with personal rest.
