The Oyo State chapter of the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) has commiserated with the Christian community in Nigeria over the passing of renowned evangelist, Bishop Uma Ukpai, who died in Lagos at the age of 80.
In a condolence message signed by NACJ chairman, Lekan Shobo Shobowale, and released through its spokesperson, Adeola Badru, the association described the late cleric as a fulfilled servant of God whose ministry, spanning over five decades, touched lives across continents.
The group hailed him as a father, mentor, and spiritual guardian who remained steadfast in his service to God despite challenges, adding that his legacy would continue to inspire generations while praying for comfort for his wife and family.
