Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, held a meeting with stakeholders of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Iseyin Campus, as part of efforts to resolve pressing challenges affecting both staff and students.
The meeting, which took place yesterday, brought together representatives of the university management, staff unions, students’ leadership, host community leaders and government officials.
During the engagement, stakeholders presented concerns bordering on infrastructure deficits, staff welfare, academic facilities and the overall learning environment on the campus.
Governor Makinde assured them that his administration would work collaboratively with all relevant parties to find lasting solutions, stressing that education remains a top priority of his government.
He reaffirmed the state’s commitment to improving conditions at the Iseyin Campus to ensure a conducive atmosphere for teaching, learning and research.
