Atalanta have ruled out letting Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman leave the club on loan, despite strong interest from Bayern Munich.
The German champions proposed a loan deal with an option to buy, but the Italian side insist the 27-year-old will only be allowed to leave on a permanent transfer for the right price.
Lookman, who has also been linked with Tottenham, Galatasaray, and several Premier League clubs, has been training separately after a fallout with Atalanta over his stalled summer exit.
Inter Milan’s earlier bid of €42m plus bonuses was rejected, as the club is only open to selling him outside Italy.
The Nigerian international scored 20 goals last season, provided seven assists, and won the 2024 CAF Player of the Year award.
