Bayern Munich have confirmed they are in discussions with England captain Harry Kane over a possible contract extension, less than two years after his arrival from Tottenham Hotspur.
Sporting director Max Eberl said talks were ongoing, noting that while no decision had been reached, discussions were necessary at some point as Kane continues to play a central role for the club.
Kane has been in prolific form since joining Bayern in August 2023, scoring 119 goals and registering 30 assists in 126 appearances, including 34 goals this season alone.
Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen said the striker is comfortable in Munich and well settled with his family, adding that there is no urgency over the negotiations as Kane remains happy and confident at the club.
