The Federal Government has pledged to preserve the dignity and legacy of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari and his family.
Vice President Kashim Shettima made the commitment while leading a 25-man ministerial delegation to the three-day prayer session held in Daura, Katsina State, for the repose of Buhari’s soul.
Shettima said the Tinubu administration remains committed to upholding the image of the Buhari family and the people of Katsina, adding that Nigerians must not allow the late president’s vision for national development to be forgotten.
Describing Buhari as a leader driven by sincerity and justice, the Vice President noted that his legacy would remain a reference point in Nigeria and Africa’s history.
He also thanked Governor Dikko Radda for the support given to the federal delegation during Buhari’s burial rites, noting that such gestures demonstrate true friendship and unity.
