Man United Thrash Bournemouth as West Ham Edge Everton in Pre-Season Series

Manchester United continued their strong pre-season form with a dominant 4-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer Series in Chicago.

Goals from Rasmus Hojlund, Patrick Dorgu, Amad Diallo, and teenage substitute Ethan Williams secured the win for Ruben Amorim’s side, who had earlier defeated West Ham 2-1.

Hojlund opened scoring early, while Dorgu added a second before Diallo and Williams extended the lead.

A late own goal by Matthijs de Ligt was the only blemish on United’s performance.

In the second match of the day, West Ham came from behind to defeat Everton 2-1. Idrissa Gueye had given Everton the lead before Lucas Paqueta equalised and Niclas Fullkrug sealed the win in the second half. Everton manager David Moyes downplayed the defeat, stating his team lacked the necessary players and readiness for the tournament. The Summer Series wraps up Sunday in Atlanta, where United will face Everton and West Ham will take on Bournemouth.
