English Premier League club Nottingham Forest has confirmed theappointment of Sean Dyche as their new head coach, signing a contract that runs until the summer of 2027. He replaces Ange Postecoglou, who was dismissed following a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea and a poor start to the season.
In a statement obtained from the club’s X handle today, the club said his appointment followed a thorough recruitment process led by Global Head of Football, Edu Gaspar, and Global Technical Director, George Syrianos.
Forest described Dyche, a former youth player at the club, as a respected Premier League manager with strong tactical acumen and character, bringing the “perfect blend” of attributes to lead the team through its next chapter. The club’s leadership believe he is the right fit to stabilise the squad both domestically and in Europe.
