Nollywood film Oversabi Aunty has crossed the ₦1 billion box office mark, becoming the fourth highest-grossing Nigerian film of all time.

Distributor FilmOne announced on Instagram that the movie earned ₦1,017,201,953 in cinemas across West Africa, noting that it is also the first Nollywood directorial debut to reach the ₦1 billion milestone and describing the feat as a major boost for the local film industry.

The achievement sparked widespread celebration online, with fans and industry colleagues praising the milestone as historic and extraordinary. The movie had earlier grossed over ₦711 million within its first 18 days in cinemas, underscoring its strong reception and commercial success.
