The Oyo State Ministry of Public Works and Transport has met with the Oluyole Estate Community Development Association (OECDA) on the planned asphaltic reconstruction of the Mobil–Oluyole Industrial Estate road network in Ibadan.
Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Hon. He explained that the reconstruction would help reduce travel time and improve access within the industrial corridor.
Speaking with Wellsradio 89.3FM Reporter Adenike Omoyele, Chairman of OECDA, Chief Jerry Akinwumi, said the project was a major milestone after years of neglect, disclosing that the state government had earmarked ₦6.5bn for the reconstruction, which is expected to last 15 months.
