Oyo State Governor, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved the appointment of eight individuals to the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) and seven members to the Governing Council of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, were conveyed in letters signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
Reports disclosed that Comrade Adeniyi Afeez Babatunde was named Chairman of OYSIEC, alongside Olatunde Akintunde Theophilus, Mrs. Adebayo Mariam Adepeju, Mr. Olanrewaju Emmanuel, among others.
For the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Governing Council, Professor Banji Oyeyinka Oyelaran was appointed Chairman, with Mr. Olatunde Gabriel Oyelade, Dr. Bello Adebayo Taiwo, Mrs. Isola Agnes Bolanle, among others as members.
Governor Makinde urged the appointees to approach their new roles with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, emphasizing their duty to serve the people and contribute meaningfully to the state’s development.
