Presidency has debunked media reports claiming that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is preparing to embark on an official visit to the United States, describing the story as false and misleading.
In a statement issued today by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, the Presidency said there was no truth to the reports suggesting that Tinubu would soon be traveling to Washington for bilateral engagements.
Ajayi said the President’s current schedule does not include any foreign trip, adding that he remains focused on domestic governance and the implementation of key economic reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He assured Nigerians that President Tinubu remains committed to driving economic stability, creating jobs, and strengthening democratic institutions across the country.
Ajayi publication, stressing that the Presidency remains open to clarifying issues in the interest of accurate public information.
