Captain of the Super Falcons, Rasheedat Ajibade, says the team is fully prepared to face South Africa’s Banyana Banyana in the semi-final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Ajibade noted that reaching this stage reflects the team’s consistent effort and improvement, adding that they thrive on playing high-stakes matches.
The Falcons, led by coach Justine Madugu, have scored the most goals in the tournament, nine in total and remain the only team yet to concede.
After a shaky group stage, they bounced back with a dominant 5-0 win over Zambia in the quarter-final.
The semifinal clash is set for 5 p.m. Nigerian time at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
