United Stun Arsenal as Title Race Widens


Manchester United handed Arsenal their first home defeat of the season with a dramatic 3–2 win at the Emirates, a result that has blown the Premier League title race wide open.
United boss Michael Carrick said his side showed resilience and belief to recover from setbacks and score three goals away from home, describing the win as a huge moment.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said the defeat was painful but stressed the need to support his players, noting their desire to keep pushing for the title
The victory lifted United into the top four, while Aston Villa also boosted their title hopes with a 2–0 win at Newcastle, moving level on points with Manchester City and within four points of Arsenal.
Villa manager Unai Emery said his side were competing against some of the league’s most powerful teams but remained firmly in the race after ending a 21-year wait for a win at St James’ Park.
Meanwhile, Chelsea extended Crystal Palace’s poor run with a 3–1 victory, as Blues boss Liam Rosenior recorded a fourth win in five matches in charge, while Palace manager Oliver Glasner said he would continue to work to improve results before leaving at the end of the season. Nottingham Forest also boosted their survival hopes with a 2–0 away win at Brentford, moving five points clear of the relegation zone.
