The Oyo State director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Dr Olukemi Afolayan, has applauded Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), and other Stakeholders for their level of preparedness for the election.
Dr. Afolayan disclosed that law enforcement agencies are actively prepared to oversee a successful local government election devoid of violence, illegalities, and rigging, which will enhance the integrity of the valued electoral system, even within the international community.
The NOA State Director explained that the political parties believed in the integrity of OYSIEC which formed the reasons for the high turnout of political parties ahead of the election.
Dr Afolayan noted that the agency has sensitized the public on the importance of Local Government system and the benefits of having a functional local government authority in place.
